Meditate on Words that Bring Life.

H
ow you think about life results in the quality of life you live. Your thoughts are important, so meditate on words that bring life.

In spite of all the obstacles I have faced in my life, one of the things that have kept me going are these words the Lord spoke to me when I was much younger “you have creative power within you, and everything you touch will prosper.” These words have been my guide in my ups and downs. I held on to these words as truth and life. I believe everything God has spoken to me and I know His words will never return void. I choose to meditate on words which bring life.

As a Christian I choose to meditate on the words of God. I also listen to godly-men and woman who are leading successful lives based on biblical principles. I read books and listen to audio messages which fosters positive encouragements and personal developments. I also write my own affirmations and speak positive things over myself at times. Most times than others you will be your own “motivator, encourager, picker-upper and dream inspirationalist.”

There are many mediums in which you can attain materials that promote positivity.  Adopt a life style that thrives on growth and productivity. Surround yourself with people who uplift your spirit and challenge you.  Keep a clear and clutter free mind. Don’t allow negative vibes or energy to drain your emotions. Guard your heart! Don’t give inner court access to people who are designed to stay in the outer court of your life. Only give people the information and attention they need, which is a principle I learned from observing the life of Jesus Christ. Jesus knew the art of dealing with people. He ministered to the multitudes, empowered and sent out seventy-two men to minister while He was on earth, He discipled twelve men, however He was friendly with only three and always took time for Himself to pray.

TODAY'S CHALLENGE:
What are your thoughts dwelling on? Are you allowing your thoughts to drain your energy? Take a moment to analyses your thoughts. If your thoughts are not positive, then change what you are thinking about and develop a successful mindset to become successful in life.

Jeremiah 29:10-13 10 For thus saith the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.  11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Most people in life can trace their family line as far back as four generations. Yet some of us don’t know our biological parents much more to know our grand-parents. Ever since I was a child I always heard my mom and her sisters talked about their parents as if it was some kind of mysterious fairy-tale.  Though my mother and her three siblings are of the same mother and father, it is a mystery to me how two of them ended up with different last n...

DON'T WAKE THE BEAST!

My mom had a way of conveying here wisdom in such a way that would make you laugh and think at the same time.  When things weren't going well or she heard of a problem between two people she would often say; "When you find your head in a lion's mouth take your time and draw it out." What she meant was that a lion is a fierce beast, but when he is sleeping he is harmless as a dove. If you are having problem with someone don't get angry and stir anger in the person because you might not be able to escape the fierceness of his or her wrath. Next time you find yourself in a dispute with someone and feel the need to get angry, remember not to wake the beast. It is best to keep calm and walk away than to wake the lion within the person and get devoured.  Proverbs 15:1 - A soft answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stir up anger.
