You Are Called

You are called for a purpose! Surely it is nothing new to you! It is something you have heard for the um-teen time. So why am I wasting my time telling you this? Simply because I want you to not just know it but believe it until you see the full manifestation of your purpose. As the apostle Paul said in his letter to the Philippians "...for me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe." Philippians 3:1.

So bear with me a moment as I take the time to exhort you once more that you are called for a purpose. Because you are called for a purpose everything will work out for you. But in order for you to fulfill that purpose you must remain connected.

The Bible declares that God has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).  He has called you. He wants you to no longer live in darkness, Romans 12:2 declare that you are not to conform to the ways of the world but to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. You are called for a purpose; however, a mind set in the ways of the world cannot accomplish the things of God.

He called you, so you must know what He is saying about the calling He has placed on your life. The only way to know what He has called you to is to stay connected to Him. Stay connected to the source of your purpose in Whom all things lie and you will manifest the impossible in your life. You are called for a purpose!

DON'T WAKE THE BEAST!

My mom had a way of conveying here wisdom in such a way that would make you laugh and think at the same time.  When things weren't going well or she heard of a problem between two people she would often say; "When you find your head in a lion's mouth take your time and draw it out." What she meant was that a lion is a fierce beast, but when he is sleeping he is harmless as a dove. If you are having problem with someone don't get angry and stir anger in the person because you might not be able to escape the fierceness of his or her wrath. Next time you find yourself in a dispute with someone and feel the need to get angry, remember not to wake the beast. It is best to keep calm and walk away than to wake the lion within the person and get devoured.  Proverbs 15:1 - A soft answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stir up anger.

Exploring God’s Love: Loving God His Way

The way we love God sometimes is not the way He requires us to love Him!   Loving God requires us to know His love language. Today we begin to explore loving God His way. “ If you love me, keep my commands." - Yeshua (Jesus). John 14:15 God’s love language! God’s commandments are His love language.    Read Exodus 20:1-17 God' Commands are two categories: Our relationship with Him. Exodus 20:2-11 Our relationship with each other. Exodus 20:12-17 Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Exodus 20:8-11 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. For six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; on it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male slave or your female slave, or your cattle, or your resident who stays with you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and everything that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; for that reason the ...
CHURCH PEOPLE...                              Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by the faith in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. - Galatians 2:16 (NKJV) Christians have been generalized as " church people " for many different reasons; some based on personal experience in church, some because of what they have heard, and others just because they are ungodly and don't see the need for a Savior. Even Christians have referred to each other as "church people." I am not bothered when people generalize us Christians with the "church people" label. We have heard it all; "church people" are ____________ ( you can fill in the blank ). The natural eyes cannot discern the things of God (1 Corinthians 2:14), therefore it would be foolis...
